Multiple Catalog Selection
In AutoCAD MEP 2009,
you can select more than one catalog for each domain. After initial
implementation, commands such as DuctPreferences or MvPartAdd show all parts
found in all the catalogs you have specified.
You can select
multiple catalogs through the existing Options dialog box tab. You can
promote and demote catalogs as needed. AutoCAD MEP generates and stores a
master catalog that includes parts from all catalogs you have specified.Migrate you existing custom catalogs and
leverage them in the design.
Commands such as
DuctPreferences and MvPartAdd pick up all parts from the master catalog and
identify which part came from which catalog.
